Keep contribution records connected
Giving records are part of the church’s financial history. ChurchFoundry supports funds, batches and contribution statements alongside the people directory, helping authorized staff review contributions without keeping disconnected donor spreadsheets.
Online donations are processed through Stripe. Software subscription costs and payment-processing fees are separate, so compare both when budgeting. A subscription is not a promise that every donation is free to process.
Give the finance team useful reporting
Custom giving reports use completed gifts and keep different currencies separate. Authorized staff can select columns, filters and grouped totals, then export data when they have export permission.
Saved report schedules send a secure link to the report creator’s account email. The email does not include donor rows or financial totals, and opening the link rechecks access. A scheduled report link runs against current data rather than delivering a frozen attachment.
Review your financial workflow before switching
Test a fictional giving record, fund designation and contribution statement with the people who handle the church’s finances. Confirm how staff record offline gifts and review online donations before moving a live financial workflow.
ChurchFoundry also provides church accounting tools for transactions, budgets, reconciliation and reports. Giving and accounting have related responsibilities, but choosing a system still requires checking your own financial controls and reporting needs.
